NOBODY AND ALL HIS FRIENDS
If you open the voice memos app on my phone you’ll find countless recordings of me in the shower humming a melody or picking away at my guitar. Some of those little soundbites grew into the three tracks on The First EP. Prior to the pandemic I had always told myself, “Ill turn these into songs someday..”, but nothing like ol’ COVID-19 to get the ball rolling.
If there is one glimmer of positivity during this pandemic it has been my rediscovery of songwriting. The last time I stepped foot in a studio I was a spry eighteen-year-old but getting back into the studio at thirty-one I still have that same passion and energy.
The First EP is just that - the first of many. I still have plenty of voice memos to go through and turn into future songs.
